Bath is a city spa city in south west England, the "West Country", in the county of Somerset and is the centre of the unitary authority of Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES).
The cities Roman/Lation name is Aquae Sulis.
Bath became a World Heritage Site in 1987, it now has a variety of museums, theatres, and other cultural and sporting venues which has greatly helped the cities tourism.
